May 2009: Schbert was tasked into finding audio elements for a location sensitive tour guide. He also collected a couple hours raw audio from Hannu’s film shooting. Next step: invent an electro-flavored tango rhythm for that film.

April 2009: Schbert has been fooling around with glitch plugins. Seems to result in some pretty interesting stuff which will be put to good use in Hannu’s weirder films. See song Tuut_BETA_by_Schbert.mp3 for tasters.

March 2009: Going through old binaural recordings, hunting for loopable noises. Finding quite a few human elements but they will be mangled to sound non-human.

Feb 2009: Skiing in Lappland. Did a soundtrack for wilderness atmospheres, combined with crescendo low tom drumming and absolutely beautiful flute by artist called Kerri.

Jan 2009: Made a quick soundtrack for Tero Hakala’s one-minute film Kissanpaiva. The film entered a competition and will be featured on a DVD by Kamera-lehti.
